The Department of Athletics & Recreation fully embraces and supports the mission of Bryant University and is committed to providing a competitive, comprehensive, and gender-equitable athletics program that operates in full compliance with the policies of Bryant University and the rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the America East Conference, the Coastal Athletic Association, the East Coast Conference, the Big South Conference and the Ohio Valley Conference.

The Department oversees 25 intercollegiate sports, as well as club sports, intramural sports, campus recreation facilities, and health and wellness programming. Through these programs, the Department promotes the health and well-being of the Bryant University community while fostering excellence in competition, leadership, sportsmanship, and personal development. The Department is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment that enriches the student experience and contributes to the educational mission of the University.
